WAC Ceiling Fan Downrods Couplers should only be used with WAC Ceiling Fans Downrods. Our couplers are manufactured to work with WAC downrods only, failure to use with a WAC downrod only can result in damage or injury. Downrod couplers can be used to join two downrods together to create a longer length. | Downrods are available in 12in, 18in, 24in, 36in, 48in, 60in, and 72in. Downrods cannot be used with "Hugger" or "Flush Mount" ceiling fans. | Available in a variety of finish options to match your ceiling fan finish. | Downrods can be joined together using a downrod coupler (DC-xx) to make lengths greater than 72in. | All WAC downrods have a single threaded end on the motor side and can be shortened in the field by cutting the un-threaded side, for instance if you need a 10in downrod you can purchase a 12in and field shorten it by 2in.
