The Kidde lithium battery-powered combination carbon monoxide and photoelectric smoke alarm with Hush is designed to detect both smoke and carbon monoxide. It uses photoelectric and electrochemical sensors to identify slow-smoldering fires and the presence of carbon monoxide. The sealed-in lithium battery provides power for up to 10 years. A test and Hush button allows temporary silencing of nuisance alarms, and the unit activates automatically when attached to the mounting bracket. This alarm is not interconnectable.
