Mr. Scrappy Dual Outlet Garbage Disposal Air Switch 20-MSAS-64

The Mr. Scrappy disposer dual outlet air switch is used to operate a food waste disposer and one other item such as a hot water dispenser or trash compactor. The outlets are turned on and off by air pressure created by pushing the button. The air travels from the button, through the air tube which is connected to the air switch inside the electrical box. One outlet at a time has power. The air switch alternates outlets in order to prevent a breaker blowout that can occur when powering on 2 items at the same time that exceed your circuit breakers maximum amperage. The air switch button can be installed through the sink top, the countertop, or inside the cabinet.
