The WEP 982 II uses a C245 compatible cartridge type soldering tip. The slip tip design allows for clearer view when soldering under the microscope. Station unit comes with a metallic groove to hot-swap the tip while in use. This unit is suitable for users who solders small micro components under microscope, or smaller circuit boards. (smartphones, laptops, drones, network routers, and more) NOTE: This station is not suitable for circuits large in size | The precision PID program keeps the temperature stabilized in milliseconds, and this allows the tip to heat from room to 572F in just 3 seconds. When the handpiece is placed inside the holder, the temperature cools to 392F to reduce heating element wear and tip oxidation | The temperature is adjustable from 194 to 842F, and there are four temperature preset channels to save and quickly access without adjusting back and forth.
